From my latest collection, this piece is crafted from oak felled due to a split trunk. Each work in the series is carefully treated with layers of Renaissance Micro-Crystalline wax to preserve the oak’s natural finish as closely as possible.
A slightly raised section towards the rim of this piece adds a subtle detail. The warping around the rim and main body when drying has created an organic feel you only get from leaving oak to dry naturally over months.
