Hi, I am a 2nd generation Ribble Valley wood turner.

Working with locally sourced & predominantly naturally fallen Ash and Oak.

My background is in all things mechanical, I started life working for the family business as a car mechanic, a bit of travel and mooching about led me into the Engineering world where I have been for 29 years. My passion though is Art, this was originally in photography which eventually pushed me into becoming professional working for my very talented wife (Julie) in her business traveling the length and breadth of the country taking landscape and lifestyle images from traditional to aerial work.

Due to family commitments we had to end the photography journey and for a couple of years my desire to do something arty was empty. I ended up being trained by my dad on the art of wood turning, becoming hooked immediately.

So that's me and this is now.
